The Adventure is Just Beginning

From scenic backcountry tours to unique private group adventures, we're always dreaming up new ways to share the land, stories, and special places that make Kilohana so meaningful.

New Kilohana experiences are coming soon — and we'd love for you to be part of the journey.

WHERE YOUR ADVENTURE BEGINS

Beyond the gates of Kilohana Plantation, the road keeps going.

Past the orchards, into the fern valleys, up through pasture where cattle graze under rainbow-stitched skies, and onto the rim of Kilohana Crater — where the whole of southern Kauaʻi opens up at your feet.

This is land the Atkins family has called home for decades. For seven years they lived at Iliahi Estate, tucked into the mountains above the plantation, and they know every old sugar-cane road, every quiet pasture, every view worth stopping for. Kilohana Crater Expeditions is how they share it with you.

Historic Lands. Hidden Roads.

Unforgettable Views.

Adventurous, but never extreme. Speed-controlled by your guide. Small groups, big country.

Visions of Old Kaua'i

Our guides know this land by heart — the history, the microclimates, the native plants, and the Hollywood movies filmed on Grove Farm.

An 'ohana three generations deep.

The Atkins family has been part of Kilohana Plantation since it first opened to the public in 1986. Fred Atkins, his family, and many valued partners have helped shape the plantation into one of Kauaʻi's most beloved destinations.

Today, three generations of the ʻohana welcome visitors into an experience three years in the making.
